Overview
The goal of this seminar is that the attendees of our seminar will have the privilege to see images that accurately reproduce the incoming electronic signal. Certainly you’ve experienced such efforts in the motion picture theatre industry. In an effort to improve that industry’s image, the quality of projected film has improved under close scrutiny from several independent organizations. In our current television system, the electronic display devices in our homes are the weak link in properly presenting program information. You must never lose sight of the fact that we are an offshoot of the entertainment industry. It is our intention that the quality of the services you can provide your clients after this seminar will bring them electronic entertainment at its best.
Much of the work that has gone into making our current television system perform better also applies to other electronic mediums. Computer imaging, Windows Media 9 HD, medical imaging, and ATSC HDTV are just a few examples. If you learn the basic requirements for an accurate display of video signals utilizing our current television system, you are then well on your way to being prepared for the future of electronic imaging, no matter what form it may take.
