STA260 Optional Test Accessory for the LC103 - Use to test SCRs and TRAICs. The STA260 dynamically tests components at their full working voltage (up to 1000 volts). The controlled internal battery supply tests sensitive gate SCRs while guaranteeing turn-on of the most demanding high current industrial SCRs and triacs. The STA260 is easy to set up; just select the test, push a button, and test. You'll never again have to guess whether or not an SCR or triac is good.

The STA260 Power Semiconductor Test Accessory is designed to be used with any Sencore Z-Meter to simplify power semiconductor testing. The STA260 dynamically tests SCRs, Triacs, Power Diodes, and IGBTs for “turn on” and leakage under normal operating voltage conditions. The STA260 also dynamically tests TRIACs for leakage and proper “turn on” in both the forward and reverse directions at normal operating voltage levels.

The STA260 connects to any Sencore Z-Meter to analyze IGBTs, diodes, SCRs and TRIACs for proper “turn on” and excessive leakage current. The leakage voltage supply of the Z-Meter supplies the test voltage to dynamically test the SCR or TRIAC under normal operating voltage conditions. The Z-Meter’s leakage current display shows the results of these tests.

The STA260 is used to select the desired test and supply the gate current or voltage needed to turn on the power semi-conductor.

Use to test chip capacitors and inductors

The CH256 Chip Component Test Lead provides two metal tabs at the end of the tweezers for making contact with the end plates of the chip component

Connects to the test lead input of the LC103 with a standard BNC connector

The STA260 can be easily operated using the information on the front panel
